The average hanging weight for a whole cow is 600-650 lbs. Price is based on hanging weight. Customer calls butcher with cutting instructions. Take home weight is 35-45% less than hanging weight due to moisture loss, trimming & deboning. You can pick up here in store or at the butcher. All purchases must be paid in full before meat will be released by butcher.

+ Processing costs at $0.75/lb x 625 lb + $120 kill fee = $588.75 (owed to butcher)
